It was an earlier start today as I picked up Kun and Christine from The Old Stocks Hotel In Stow-on-the-Wold. They had asked for a tour of the North Cotswolds and we set off on what turned out to be a lovely sunny day. Burford was to be our first stop but we passed through Swinbrook on the way.
Today's tour was booked way back in July last year and I was looking forward to meeting Carey and Judy. I was at the Manor Hotel in Moreton-in-Marsh to pick them up. Following introductions, we set off for our day in the Cotswolds.
I was up early this morning. When Jernny asked why, I replied that I had three teachers today and needed to do my revision before the tour! What a wonderful day we had touring the Cotswolds from the Old Stocks Hotel in Stow on the Wold down to Bath 😊
I had been in WhatsApp correspondence with Angela to put a tour together for her parents. I was therfore, delighetd to meet David and Angela at the Wild Rabbit in Kingham. Sadly, 'Flaming June' was not living up to its name and Angela went back for an extra layer! I really enjoyed your company for the day. What was to be a short day turned out to be the full 8 hours with a final stop at Daylesford.
I collected Steve, Nancy and Jeff, and Charlie and Sarah from their hotel in Bath. We set off on a tour of the South and Central Cotswolds on a rare sunny day in June. I really did enjoy your company for the day, learning about "Merrica"! and some very precisce and objective views.
