Will remember this day forever!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ — although five stars hardly feels like enough! I’m not sure any review can truly capture just how special this day was for us. I had imagined visiting the Cotswolds for weeks before our trip, and somehow the reality was even more beautiful. The countryside, the villages, the rolling hills, the sheep, and the incredible way this part of England has been so lovingly preserved almost didn’t feel real. But as beautiful as the Cotswolds are, it was Peter who made the experience truly unforgettable. Within minutes of meeting him, we felt completely at ease. At one of our first stops, Peter literally stood with us along the roadside, overlooking this breathtaking countryside, and pointed out where our day would take us. It was such a simple moment, but I remember thinking, “This is going to be special.” And it absolutely was. Peter’s knowledge of the Cotswolds, its history, its villages and the country he clearly loves is incredible, but what makes him so wonderful is the way he shares it. Nothing felt rehearsed or like we were being moved from one tourist stop to another. He listened to us, got to know us, and allowed the day to unfold naturally. Before long, he felt much less like our guide and much more like a friend showing us a place he loves. We visited Burford, Bourton-on-the-Water, Stow-on-the-Wold, Lower and Upper Slaughter, with beautiful little stops and surprises along the way. Peter had also arranged the most wonderful lunch at a traditional village pub, where we sat looking out at rolling green hills with sheep wandering just outside our window. It was one of those moments where you look at each other and think, “Are we really here?” What we will remember most, though, is how Peter made us feel. He was warm, funny, thoughtful, incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely interested in us. There was conversation, laughter, history, beautiful scenery and never a feeling of being rushed. The itinerary adapted as the day went along, which made the entire experience feel personal rather than planned. We arrived as two Puerto Ricans hoping to see the Cotswolds and left feeling as though a friend had shared a little piece of his home with us. Peter, thank you for giving us a day that somehow surpassed the one I had imagined in my head. We will remember it — and you — very fondly for a very long time. Perfect Day in the Cotswolds with Peter!
My 29 year old daughter and I had the most perfect day in the Cotswolds thanks to Peter! He is absolutely lovely-charming, fun, knowledgeable, interesting, patient, and hospitable. Peter was super easy to communicate with leading into the trip. He started with the initial ideas I shared about our day and gave great input and ideas about how to make our itinerary even better. He was super reliable and punctual, making the day work seamlessly, including a perfect stop for lunch at a fabulous pub, the Fox Inn. Southern Tour of the Cotswolds
Peter was an absolute gem of a guide. We have taken other tours and didn’t like the tight scheduling. Peter let us move at our pace and was a treasure trove of information. Last minute tour, won the lottery with Tour Guides
Our tour today with Peter was one I’ll never forget. He’s so thoughtful, really listened to what we wanted to see and came up with great additions. Along the way he took the time to stop and show us some hidden gems like the Donnington Brewery. The most picturesque Brewery I’ve ever seen! For a couple of us, it was our first time in the UK (but not our last) and it was a bonus to have Peter share his knowledge of the country’s history. He was so patient with us as we asked him a million questions. There’s so much to see in the Cotswolds. Cotswolds like you have never seen it!
My two friends and I came to the Cotswolds for our 60th birthday celebrations. We had an absolutely magical time with Peter. He showed us things we never would have found by ourselves. Memorable tour with an excellent guide
Our tour with Peter today is one I will remember always. We had a full day tour of the Cotswolds. This tour was filled with beautiful sights, laughter and amazing history. Peter customized our tour to exactly what we were interested in. He definitely put thought into the itinerary. We all felt as if Peter was a family member take the time to show us all that the Cotswolds have to offer. Unforgettable day!
Peter was an amazing tour guide! He was flexible from the get-go, worked with me prior to our arrival to make sure the tour was designed around our other scheduled activities. He was informative, tirelessly answered all our questions (5 of us), super personable and made sure we had a good time. I highly recommend him to anyone who would like to see the hidden gems of this area. The BEST tour!!
Peter was amazing!! He was such a joy, and we had an amazing day with him. He was able to answer each of our questions, and we learned so much about the Cotswolds. Great Tour Guide Experience
Peter was an exceptional guide ! My girlfriends and I spent two full days with him one in the Norther Cotswolds and one in the Southern Corswolds. Both days were fun and informative. We laughed so much and enjoyed lots of great conversation and sightseeing tailored to our group!. We were able to see so many good towns and stops that we would’ve missed without Peter. Two wonderful days in the Cotswolds
Today we completed two days of exploring the Cotswolds with Peter Edwards-Moss and it was perfect in all regards. Peter is a wonderful person, easy to talk to and fun to be with. He is also extremely knowledgeable about the beautiful Cotswolds and we learned so much from him. We would highly recommend booking a tour with him. WONDERFUL tour experience!
Peter was AMAZING - I booked a half day Northern Cotswolds tour and a full day Southern/Central Cotswolds tour with him for June 2026 to see multiple destinations each day. We chose a private tour option over a large group day tour to be able to see several different towns rather than only a couple of towns and were SO glad we did - this was a far more enjoyable experience than a bus tour with a group of strangers. Peter was incredibly helpful in mapping out the itinerary and making suggestions that allowed us to see all of the towns we wanted to in the two days we had in the countryside. He also very kindly suggested a smaller, quieter town for us to stay in (Burford) rather than the larger town I had originally considered and we were again SO glad we did that. We were able to truly experience the feel of the Cotswolds in Burford, wandering the town both evenings we stayed there and taking in the beautiful buildings and streets. And Peter is just wonderful - he is so friendly and pleasant, knows where all the well-known sites as well as the hidden gems are, knows the histories of the various towns and sites, and knows the countryside so well that even during the times traveling between towns, the views and scenery all around are stunning. The day and a half we spent with him were not only a highlight of this trip, but of any trip of my life. Peter, thank you so much for this absolutely unforgettable experience! Dig Deep into the history of The Cotswolds!
Our fine guide, Peter Edwards-Moss met us at Kingham station and proceeded to take us on grand tour of The Cotswolds. We saw the amazingly beautiful countryside and villages and listened to Peter as he told us tales of the interesting history of the area. Southern Cotswolds all day tour.
We had a full day tour of the Southern Cotswolds with Peter. The booking was easy. We communicated through email and WhatsApp. He arrived at our hotel on time. We saw several small villages like Castle Combe and some larger towns like Painswick. The nunnery tour was excellent. We had a nice lunch together to learn more about daily life in the modern Cotswolds. We never drove more than 15 minutes between sites. I was in London for business and was overwhelmed with options, Peter gave us the greatest day sampling of the Cotswolds
It’s was perfect, Peter was professional and knowledgeable and customized the tour to fit our needs. I have been wanting to visit the area for some time and did not want to drive or be on any type of larger tour, we took the train from London Paddington (so easy) and he met us at the station for a great day. The area is beautiful, but the roads are tight and you absolutely want to be with someone that is familiar with the area. Incredible Way to Experience the Cotswolds
We had the pleasure of spending two days touring the North and South Cotswolds with Peter in late November 2025. My husband and I were traveling with my parents who are in their seventies and it was the perfect balance where were able to see in incredible swath of the Cotswolds but it was not too much walking for my parents who have limited mobility. Peter is absolutely incredible, with so much knowledge about the area, buildings and people. We were so excited for this tour and Peter did not disappoint. He pointed us to amazing places to eat and shop and was just a pleasure to spend time with. I highly, highly recommend doing a tour with Peter if you can.
